Pastor Cesar Minera was born in Guatemala City, Guatemala. As a child he attended a small church in his neighborhood where he would evangelize and motivate other children to get close to God. At the age
of 15 years old he moved to the United States where along with his family they began to attend an Anglo church since there was no Hispanic churches at the time in Reno, Nevada.
After graduating from high school Pastor Minera began to work towards his degree in order to eventually become a dentist. While attending college he could distinctly hear a voice that would tell him, “If you do not preach my word many souls will be lost.” The voice became so strong that he began to do an in-depth study of the bible and asked God for guidance in regards to what he should be doing. For an entire semester, he did not attend his regular college classes, but would instead go to the library and dedicate his time studying the word of God.
As a result, Pastor Minera began a prayer group and bible study out of his family’s home where they would invite friends and other family members. This was where Ministerio Palabra de Vida (Word of Life Ministries) was born. In 1987 Pastor Minera married his wife Rita Minera and they have been pastoring together for the last 34 years. Today, they have two children, Cesar and Krystal, who also serve alongside them in the ministry and two grandchildren, Cesar Hesed and Grace Karis.
As a pioneer for the Hispanic church in the Northern Nevada region it has always been important to Pastor Minera for the Hispanic churches to remain united and also involved in their community. For this reason, he founded and is the current President of A.M.E.N. (Asociación de Ministros Evangélicos de
Nevada) a Hispanic pastor’s association that is made up of many pastors and their congregations.
In 2010 Pastor Cesar felt the calling from the Lord to lead beyond the four walls of the church and to truly make an impact in our community. Thankfully, the Lord began opening doors for Pastor Minera to hold positions where he could influence many different areas of our region such as serving as treasurer for our local Crisis Pregnancy Center, which serves all women experiencing unplanned pregnancies. He has served for the last 3 years and is currently serving on the Reno Human Rights Commission which ensures that the rights of all are protected, including religious rights. Many times when we think of impacting and serving our local communities we think of feeding the poor and helping the needy, but Pastor Minera has also felt a calling to impact our local law enforcement considering how demanding their work is and the negative light they are now seen in. Pastor Cesar has worked with the Reno Police Department on annual race and policing symposiums as well as community events to bridge the gap between them and the Hispanic community. He has served on the Chief of Police’s Advisory Board for the last 4 years and also founded the chaplain program for the Reno Police Department.
Something that has always been near and dear to the heart of Pastor Minera is the country and people of Israel. He believes it is our Christian duty to not only pray for the people of Israel but actively advocate for the United States to remain as an ally. Thankfully, through the organization Christian United For Israel (CUFI), Pastor Minera was chosen to be a congressional liaison for Northern Nevada and has been serving for the last 5 years. These positions have taken on different shapes and forms but Pastor Minera has taken each one on with the heart to minister God’s love to all.
Throughout the years Ministerio Palabra de Vida (Word of Life Ministries) has had the ability to expand both locally and internationally under the leadership of Pastor Minera. Thankfully, there are now ministries in Reno, Lake Tahoe, California, Utah, New Jersey, Mexico and Guatemala. One of the main focuses in expanding the ministry is to empower each pastor and their church with the word of grace and a Christ centered teaching.
In 2015 Pastor Minera was entrusted with another resource when he was named the Academic Director for the Hispanic division of Multnomah University, now Nevada Christian College.
He has traveled extensivily throughout the United States, Central and South America teaching the incomparable word of God.
For the past twenty years he has been the excutive producer for the local television program named Sabiduria Para El Diario Vivir (Wisdom For Daily Living), and also for the past 10 years has produced a radio program with the same name.

Maurice Huggins Jr., known as Mo, was born and raised in Connecticut. He committed his life to Christ at a young age and for the last 12 years has been serving in ministry with titles such as Student Pastor, Teaching Pastor, and Associate Pastor. Currently, he serves as the Lead Pastor of Mountain West Church in the suburbs of Atlanta. He has an undergraduate degree in Pastoral Leadership, a Masters in Homiletics, and is completing his Doctorate of Ministry in Biblical Preaching. His greatest joy is his family—his wife Tiana and their three sons Maurice III, Maverick, and Myles. Dr. Calvin Ray Evans serves as President and Director of Evangelistic Outreach Ministries. He preached his first sermon in August, 1977. He serves as a pastor and continues to maintain a full-time evangelistic schedule. He has been honored to witness over 100 public professions of faith in a single week of meetings here in America. He has served on a number of missionary and religious boards. He is the father of two children, Tarrah and Caleb, and resides with his precious wife, Kandi, at Rubyville, Ohio.
Brian Baer is the Assistant Director of Evangelistic Outreach. He became full time with Evangelistic Outreach in June, 2001. Brian also serves in the ministry of singing. He is a graduate of the Stamps Baxter School of Music. However, Brian’s first calling is to preach and the Lord has blessed him to be able to preach in many different areas. Brian has lived by Romans 8:28, and is living proof of that scripture.
He resides in McDermott, Ohio with his wife, Heather, daughter Abigail and son, Alex. Brian was saved at the age of five at the North Moreland Christian Baptist Church.

Pastor Chrystal Moore was born on December 10, 1964, to proud parents Sherman and Bernadine Moore in Oklahoma. She graduated from Classen High School in 1984. Chrystal accepted Christ at the early age of six and became a member of The Church of God (W.H.P.W.O.B.) under the leadership of the late Bishop Issac Freeman. After his passing, she moved to The Evangelistic Baptist Church of Christ, led by the late Pastor T.J. Robert, from 1981 to 1984. During this time, Chrystal was actively involved in both the youth and senior choirs.
Her passion for music continued as she joined The Gospel Music Workshop Choir (Oklahoma Chapter) and, at 18, became part of the Rodney Foster and First Word gospel group, allowing her the opportunity to travel and minister alongside many gospel artists.
In 1984, she was blessed with her first child, Julian Dior Moore, and in 1991, her daughter, Ta-tef. This period marked a crossroad in Chrystal’s life, with many challenges, but through it all, God never let go. He was preparing her for the work she is doing today. Chrystal rededicated her life to Christ and received the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
On March 23, 1991, she received spiritual direction at Prospect MB Church, which led her to further training in ministry and music. In 1996, Chrystal had a profound encounter with God, who called her to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. This calling led her to pursue biblical studies at the Johnson Bible Institute.

Members knocked on doors and took surveys to discover problems that concerned Memphis residents. Key concerns included: crime, poverty, graffiti, and lack of recreational outlets for youth. Apostle Williams and WOOMC used these surveys to implement programs and ministries to address these issues, including:

Teri grew up in the Bible belt on fried chicken and gospel singin’ performing her first song at age five. She was a regular on the stage of the Church of God campground and at 18 joined the Lee Singers @ Lee College. Upon completing her degree Teri worked in corporate America in the family business.
Though successful in business, Teri felt the call to return to her passion of singing, teaching, and mentoring/coaching. Now some thirty eight years later, she has traveled extensively around the world with ministries such as Nancy Harmon and Carl Richardson. Teri has appeared on TBN, PTL and several other local radio and television broadcasts. She has served in various areas of ministry in five local churches, including North Cleveland Church of God.
Teri has three beautiful children, Marc (31) Danielle (30) and Trevor (28), a son in law Taylor (32) daughter in law Kelsey (28) and they reside in Cleveland, TN. She has raised all three children alone since they were very small. Jesus Christ is the center of their world, and they wake up every day believing God for a miracle for Marc who has a life long disability, Autism. When asked frequently about this difficult situation, Teri’s response is always the same: “I believe that the blood of Jesus paid the price for Marc’s healing and that he will be healed. However, I believe that the most important thing to God is the building of our character, and I only want the miracle when God has completed the work in our family that He knows must be accomplished.”
Teri brings Scripture alive through humor and modern day application. Whether a scholar or new born believer, the Holy Spirit will bring you to a place of soul searching reality. Teri’s personal life experiences have caused her to embrace pain and move beyond it through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Our beloved Les Feldick was called home by our Lord on April 5, 2023 at the age of 95.
Les Feldick was an Oklahoma rancher since 1975 and had previously been an Iowa farmer.
Les and his wife, Iris, of 70 years raised three children, including a daughter called home by our Lord in 2017. From these have come nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Les loved teaching the Bible. He taught home-style Bible classes for over 50 years. His teaching, which is still on TV, radio, the internet, books, and DVDs, is non-denominational, and his students come from diverse denominations and backgrounds. It was through one of these classes that a student helped open the door for his “Through the Bible” television program.
Les never had any formal Bible training. It was through the Holy Spirit that he was able to teach night after night for many years, never using lesson plans or notes, and seemingly, never growing tired.
Les would start his classes in Genesis 1:1 and work all the way through the Bible. All the Scriptures quoted are referenced from the King James Version. Les commented that “Once a class has been ‘Through the Bible’ with me, we generally start over and do it again.”

The need for this certification is self-evident. We hold our ministers to high standards in order to preserve the integrity of our denomination and represent biblical truth. We put them through demanding education, training, internships and credentialing that will prepare them for exemplary ministry.
